I know you’re probably all head over heels with Halloween at the moment, but … September 19th is International Talk Like a Pirate Day!

And never one to let a holiday go uncelebrated, this year we have not one, but two, very cool pirate lessons!  Ooo arrr…..

The first one is, of course, the brand new CD11‘s  Treasure Adventure.

Here we not only have some very cool “ure” phonics practice, but the key phrase is the very useful “There’s a ….”

The game is a great presentation activity for curing shyness (video here) and there are also a ton of printables we’ve been preparing over the Summer e.g.
